Dance Games Surge in the UK on Android in Q2 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, the UK's Android platform saw interesting trends in the Dance Games category. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into how the top five applications fared during this period.

Just Dance Now by Ubisoft Entertainment saw its revenue fluctuate, starting at $245K in the first week of April and ending at $243K in the last week of June. Downloads spiked remarkably to 1.51M in the last week of June, while weekly active users more than doubled from 1.51M at the beginning of April to 2.65M by the end of June.

CrazyLabs LTD's Pole Star did not generate revenue, but its downloads peaked at 289K in late April and then dipped to 87K by late June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 527K in the first week of April and dropping to 250K by the last week of June.

Cheerleader Run 3D, developed by Supersonic Studios LTD, also had no reported revenue. Downloads showed a declining trend, starting at 503K and falling to zero in early June. The weekly active users mirrored this decline, from 712K to 56K over the quarter.

The performance of Ice Skating Ballerina Life by Coco Play By TabTale was modest in terms of revenue, with the highest revenue recorded at $47K in late April. Downloads and weekly active users remained relatively stable, with downloads hovering around the 100K-180K mark and active users seeing a slight increase from 249K to 177K from the start to the end of the quarter.

Lastly, My Town: Dance School Fun Game from My Town Games Ltd showed minor revenue figures, peaking at $17K in mid-April. Download numbers remained consistent, with a peak at 170K in late May, and active users showed a gradual increase from 56K to 82K throughout the quarter.
